How does Bug Bow work?
Fill the hopper with a pinch of ordinary table salt, pull the string back, line up the fly, and let it go. No batteries or charging.
Do I need special salt?
No. Bug Bow uses ordinary table salt — the same kind you already have in your kitchen. Table salt is not included with your order.
Does Bug Bow need batteries?
No. Bug Bow does not need batteries or charging.
What's included when my Bug Bow arrives?
Your order includes one Bug Bow device. Table salt is not included, and no batteries are needed.
Is Bug Bow safe for kids?
Bug Bow is built for family backyard fun and is recommended for ages 8 and up, with adult supervision. It launches a small pinch of ordinary table salt — no chemicals and no hard projectiles. No one should ever aim at people, pets, or eyes.
Does it actually work on flies?
Yes — that's the whole point. Bug Bow fires a pinch of table salt with an effective range of up to 15 feet, and closer shots work best on houseflies and similar small pests. When the flies are hiding, it doubles as satisfying target practice.
Will it make a mess?
You're firing a pinch of table salt, so expect a light dusting where you shoot. Indoors, a quick wipe or vacuum takes care of it; outdoors, you'll never notice it.
When will my Bug Bow ship?
Orders are processed and shipped within 5–7 business days. After it ships, delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location, and you'll get tracking by email.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to U.S. addresses only, for a flat $20 shipping charge per order. If you're outside the U.S., join the updates list in the footer and we'll let you know if that changes.
When will my card be charged?
Your card is charged when you place your order.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. You can cancel anytime before your order ships for a full refund. Once it has shipped, our standard return process applies.
What if my Bug Bow arrives damaged or stops working?
Every Bug Bow is covered by a 90-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting the day yours is delivered. If it arrives damaged or stops working under normal use, email adam@conceptconsumer.com with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right with a free replacement (or a refund if we can't replace it). Normal wear, misuse, and modifications aren't covered.
Will you keep me updated on my order?
Yes. You'll get an order confirmation right away, and tracking information by email the moment your order ships.

Why we built Bug Bow
Bug Bow started with an everyday annoyance: flies at the cookout, in the kitchen, on the patio — and nothing fun about getting rid of them.
We wanted a better way. Not a spray. Not a swatter. Something that actually made the moment fun instead of a chore. So we built Bug Bow: a simple device that uses ordinary table salt to deal with flies, no batteries and no fuss.
Bug Bow was developed the way we build everything at Concept 2 Consumer: start with a real, everyday problem, then turn the idea into a thoughtful product people can enjoy. That work is backed by issued U.S. Patent 12,604,879 B2.
We think dealing with flies should be the most fun part of your day, not the most annoying. That's what Bug Bow is for.
